Homelab Notes is a personal blog documenting my journey building and maintaining a home server using reused hardware.
Instead of buying expensive enterprise equipment, I decided to repurpose an HP ProDesk 600 G2 Mini and turn it into a practical homelab for media streaming, file storage, DNS filtering, virtualization and Docker services.
The goal is simple:
- Learn new technologies
- Reduce dependence on cloud services
- Reuse existing hardware
- Have fun building things
